![]() If you are using a different Layer Standard, I could see where having those layers would be annoying, particularly if there is no localized content available that uses layer names matching your standard. You can end up with one or two STB files to cover everything needed for any file. If you realize a layer should plot to.25mm you change the plotstyle name associated with that layer rather than the color of the layer. Every once in a while something will sneak into a drawing file and drag the G-Anno-Nplt and/or A-Anno-Scrn layer into it (usually a Material Definition, but not always). Aec Standard.stb You could have 10 layers using that plot style name and each layer could have a different color. For our 2004 rollout, I had gone into all of the source files and renamed those layers G-Anno-Nplt-N and A-Anno-Scrn-N since we decided to explicitly include the '-N' for new work layers, to make it easier to grab them all at once. G-Anno-Nplt and A-Anno-Scrn are really tied to a layer std and it inserts those layers whether they are wanted or not. Your mileage may vary, and the status of 'merge pens' may affect whether or not Invisible Ink acts as a wipeout. I have not played with this much, but vaguely recall having an Invisible Ink object on top 'erasing' the linework below some time back. Before you change them all to Invisible Ink, you may want to experiment with how doing so affects plots. ![]()
